Northward
well, we in laura, in a national park north of cook town. there are 50 people who live here, 1 pub and a library with a satelite internet connection! what a great place... just had a beer in the pub and then we will be on to the road again, which is quite challenging. the roof rack has fallen off complety once and slighly once. we all well. five of us in the pajero and scottie and reggie in their land cruiser. bruce holding up well. all good. spent last night with an open fire next to a water hole. didnt see any crocs, but apparantly they are everywhere up here. simopn saw a funnel web spider. its real bush up here. its great. we are, as they say, loving it, drinking goon bags by the 4 litres...(4 litre bag of wine for 10 dollars) and gettin "sucked under" as scottie keeps saying.
