The last week
After a lot of arguments about how much money we were going to pay the car bastards but we finaly made it out of sydney last wednesday.
We gave them 400 dollars, i got my passport back and off we went. We picked up (another!) swiss chick for the journey and we three have been slowly making our way up the coast.
We are now in camden haven and are leaving tomorrow to go further up the coast. We have been here for 5 days and the place we are camping at is beutiful.
Tame kangas roam around along with huge goanna's, a 1.5m long lizard. They come out of the forest and try and get into your tent and food etc. Awesome!
Weather is fantastic and have picked up quite a sun tan.
My birthday was quite low key, we went to visit the highest waterfall in oz and it was spectacular, 160 meters. then we came back and had 3 stubbies and some vodka around the camp fire and that was it, we were all out for the count.
Ill try and flesh this out a bit more at a later date.
However, all is well.
we are getting a new gearbox mount for the car fitted tomorrow and we will be on our way...it doesnt stop Bruce from working but we need to get it done. We have found a guy who will do it for nothing in return for some help with his Computer problems....serendipity in full swing.
