Bastards
So i went swimming last night as part of my now regular exercise regime. i wasnt going to go, having just had a couple of beers after work with some work pals, (yesterday was the worst day yet) but after i sobered up i made myself. Anyways, i do my 40 laps and get out, feeling good as im not lying on the floor gasping for breath .. ...i used to be only 2 weeks ago when i could just manage 20 without dying. (its only a 12 meter pool...no great shakes)
My eyes hurt a bit, but im thinking dont be such a poof kev, and i go back upstairs to the flat and start doing the rest of my exersises , and then my eyes feel sore, then sorer then burning pain, cant see anything properly, my sinuses get all inflammed, im seeing halos off the lights and it looks like there is a fog in the room....i actually opened all the windows....then i wash my eyes out...ahhh! relief....5 mins later more pain....wash eyes.....this continues for a good couple of hours...anyways, so i go downstairs to the lobby, and while im there i ask the reception guy if theyve put chlorine in to the pool today, to which he replies
err, someone said something about a problem with the filter yesterday, im not sure if theyve fixed it or...
i wanted to hit him really hard in the face with a mallet....bastards....
